Have you ever thought about buying a car in Japan ? Are you hesitant because of the
complicated process and the language barrier? Don't worry! At Auto Frontier ,

our professional staff are here to explain and assist you in your purchase. Our headquarters always have

English - speaking staff members who are ready to help you with your needs. We can also be of service

when it is time to ship your car to your home country or anywhere else abroad.

We would be delighted to arrange your car purchase, handle your car registration, car inspection,

and car licensing for you. We can also take care of your car maintenance while you are in Japan

.

Step 1 Selection

Please check our stock list to select a car you wish to purchase. Please also check the details of the vehicle. If your desired car is not in the stock list, please contact us and we will try to find it for you. Please understand that although we keep our website stock-list updated, the vehicle you choose may already be sold out when you contact us. We provide test drives, too.

 

Step 2 Quotation for additional expenses

If you consider purchasing a vehicle, we will provide you with a written estimate. We do not pressure you to purchase a vehicle. Please feel free to comment on or ask our staff any questions.

 

Step 3 Contract

You will need to prepare some documents. 1)INKAN SYOUMEISYO /SAIN SYOUMEISYO *See below for translation 2)ININZYO 3)SYAKO SYOUMEISYO. We will also accept your old car as trade in against any new car purchase.

 

Step 4 Inspection

Subject to contact we carry out the final inspection and recommend the best insurance option.

 

Step 5 Delivery

Should you wish, we will take a picture of you with your new car!

Please enjoy your new car! We believe that our relationship with you has really just started when

you have

purchased your car. We provide support for you and your car afterwards.

# In order to be eligible to purchase a car in Japan, you are required to have

1. INKAN SHOUMEI SHO = A seal impression certificate

2 . ININ JHO = A letter of attorney

3. SHAKO SHOUMEI SHO = A parking space certificate

If you do not register your seal, you are required to have SAIN SYOUMEI SYO ( A signature certificate)

instead of INKAN SHOUMEI SHO.

# For operating a vehicle in ＪＡＰＡＮ you are required to have (Does not apply to U.S Military servicemen)

１． ZIDOUSYANOUZEI SYOUMEI SHO = A car tax payment certificate

２． ZIBAISEKIHOKEN SYOUMEI SHO = A compulsory automobile liability insurance certificate

３． Japanese Driving Licence or International Driving Licence

# Automobile financing and the possibility of trading in your car.

If you are thinking about trading in your car, you must have:

•  INKANSHOUMEISHO

•  ININJHO

•  JIBAISEKI HOKEN SHOUMEISHO

•  JIDOUSYANOUZEI SYOUMEISHO

•  JYOTO SHOMEISHO (A copy of the ownership agreement)

•  GAIKOKUJIN TOUROKU GENPYOU KISAIJIKOU SHOMEISHO

(A Ledger sheet showing the proof ofｇｈ the name and address).

Only when a seal impression certificate does not accord with MOT test certificate/car registration.

With regard to automobile financing, please feel free to ask our staff any questions.


Step 1 Selection

Please check our Stock List and select your desired car. Please also check the details of the vehicle. If your desired car is not in our stock-list, please contact us and we will try to find it for you. Please understand that although we keep our website stock-list updated, the vehicle you choose may already be sold out when you contact us.

Step 2 Quotation for additional expenses

Once you find your desired car, please contact us. We need to know the following information.

 

  1. Your name (Your company name)
  2. Your address
  3. Your port of debarkation
  4. Your contact telephone and Fax number
  5. The stock number
  6. The type of the vehicle
  7. The grade
  8. The ｃ olour

Once we have received this information from you, we will prepare a quotation, and send you the full details.

 

Step 3 Contract

After we send you the vehicle quotation, please place your order via e-mail. We will send an Proforma Invoice and Contract by Fax and e-mail. Please send it back with your signature by Fax or E-mail.

 

Step 4 Payment

After we receive the Profoma Invoice and Contract from you, you will be required to pay the full amount in advance by T/T (Telegraphic Transfer) in Japanese Yen. The car will not be shipped until we have confirmed your full payment has been received. Please send a copy of your bank remittance statement by Fax or E-mail.

Our responsibilities

We will handle all the paper work of the vehicle deletion registration for export.

We will provide transportation for the vehicle to a Japanese port.

We will handle all the Japanese custom duties for export.

Once your car has been shipped from Japan , we will send you the entire document required to

import your vehicle. e.g. Bill of Lading, Invoice, Japanese Deletion Registration Certificate/Export

Certificate with the translation, Declaration of the translation

Impor ｔ ers will be responsible for all the risks after shipping, including any freight charge.

Auto Frontier only deals with cars for export. We accept all responsibilities until we ship the car from

a Japanese port.

We are entirely responsible for transportation of the vehicle to a Japanese port.
